Why does my greywater tank smell?
Catchment tanks come in a variety of sizes.
The daily throughput and loading of effluent is dependent on the number of people using the facilities and the source i.e. kitchen/shower/bath. The faster the collected effluent is dispersed the better.
Normally the liquid is pumped out by a submersible attached to a float switch which always leaves a residue under the pump. The organic material in this residue begins to decompose resulting in a sulphurous malodour.

The Problem
The pungent smell from pet urine on artificial grass or turf evolves from ammonia. When rinsing down your artificial turf, the ammonia mixes with the water and forms crystal encrustations which block the drainage holes of the turf. This is what makes the smell even worse. Disinfectants only mask the smells caused by these encrustations and so smells keep reoccurring after cleaning.
How does TurfPong removes the urine smell?
TurfPong is a powerful combination of ammonia-eliminating enzymes and odour-eating bacteria. IMPORTANT NOTE
Artificial grass can reach very high temperatures. As enzyme products can have a reduced efficiency when the turf’s temperature exceeds 45C, pet urine smells may reoccur if the bacteria have not had a chance to completely digest the ammonia due to high temperatures. Bacteria will become active again after sundown or when temperatures cool.

Why does my greywater tank smell?
Catchment tanks come in a variety of sizes.
The daily throughput and loading of effluent is dependent on the number of people using the facilities and the source i.e. kitchen/shower/bath. The faster the collected effluent is dispersed the better.
Normally the liquid is pumped out by a submersible attached to a float switch which always leaves a residue under the pump. The organic material in this residue begins to decompose resulting in a sulphurous malodour.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply Tank Pong™ after the pump has completed its cycle into the left-over residue. Dosage is dependent on the capacity of the tank as well as the volume of effluent flowing through the unit. We recommend 100mls per 100 litres. Thereafter, increase or reduce quantities until the odour is gone.

was formed in 2008, as an off shoot of Sannitree International CC, the leading blender and distributor of enzyme based products for the breaking down of Organic Waste in the world, exporting to some 29 countries world wide.
It was our experience, while supplying our many customers, comprising chicken farms, restaurants, stables, piggeries, in fact industries across the board, where the one problem they had in common, was FLIES.
The breakthrough came when we managed to sourse a Larvacide which was not detrimental to the enzymes and bacteria used in the mix to treat pit toilets where we could now reduce the fly problem as well as break down the excrement in the Pit.
Naturally, the business mushroomed within a few months and it was decided to hive it off as a separate entity, with the support of the entire agents network of Sannitree International CC.
We now have a fully fledged service team to cater for the eradication of the scourge, from the egg ( larva stage) to the adult fly that spreads terrible fly borne diseases as you will see from the content of this site.

For the first time we have been able source an enzyme based product, which is compatible with a non hazardous insecticide.
As will be observed from the Data Sheets the product mix is completely non hazardous to both animals and humans.
For the home owner, the 1lt bottle provided in the DIY kit, should be filled with water & thoroughly mixed with the larvacide contained therein, and applied, using the spray nozzle, to areas where flies may breed, typically the interior of the wheelie bin, compost heap etc.
For wider commercial use, the product may be applied using a spray, to any area where flies breed, particularly rubbish tips, stagnant pools, sewage plants, solid waste depots etc.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1. Inspect the site thoroughly for signs of fly activity – these will manifest themselves in the form of fly spots particularly on the ceiling, electric light fittings and so on.
2. Once the landing/settling area has been identified, mix the powder product provided, with 40ml of water in the container using the measure and container provided, ensuring a smooth liquid mixture.
3. Use the paint brush to apply the mix to the areas identified – typically the inside & outside of window frames, doorframes, electric light fittings, top of wheelie bin etc. randomly, in stripes of 30 – 40cm. It is not necessary to paint the entire window or door frame.
4. The “fly board” may be attached to the wall above the bin & painted with a cross to provide an additional attraction for the fly.
5. Use your dust pan and brush to sweep up the multitude of dead flies.
REMEMBER:
We can’t stop the flies from getting in, but we can eliminate the scourge once they are in.

Each gram contains approximately 10 billion selected microbes and multiple hydrolic enzymes. Compost Accelerator is completely environmentally safe.
Compost accelerator is very helpful for producing good quality compost, because it can decompose organic materials very efficiently and produce nutrients for other microbes like high temperature microbes, and can also inhibit pathogens
The product is non-toxic and works by releasing powerful enzymes and bacteria to feed on the decaying vegetable and plant matter.
How does it work?
It is a biologically complex product and has the advantage over many products previously offered since its action is allied to natural biological decomposition of waste organic matter without any of the undesirable side-effects obtained from chemical products.
The workable temperature range is about 20 – 50ºC. For compost production high temperature (higher than 50ºC) microbes like actinomycetes will start working naturally under temperatures such as 50 – 75ºC. These high temperature microbes are found in soil and of course compost materials, and can grow very well if Compost Accelerator is used. Therefore, we would recommend adding Compost Accelerator in low (room) temperatures from the start, rather than between 55 – 65ºC.

A basic dosage rate of 100 grams per cubic meter is suggested for household garden applications. Larger agricultural applications can be reduced to around 50 grams per cubic meter.

REPRODUCTION RATE
Under standard conditions 1 cell will divide into 2 identical cells every 30 minutes. Within 24 hours one single cell can multiply to millions of waste digesting cells.
DOSAGE
Chicken Mortality Pits: Use one teaspoon of enzyme per chicken and add to a container of water large enough to dip the carcass into. Wait 30 minutes for the microbes to reproduce and then submerge each carcass under the water and toss into the mortality pit. Stir the mixture frequently and pour the remainder into the pit.
DEGRADATION RATE
DecombusterTM enzymes will increase the degradation time from 2 kg of wet flesh per day per cubic meter, to 8 kg wet flesh per cubic meters per day.
