The Sannitree® Waterless Urinal Valve completely eliminates the need for water and the sewer costs normally incurred by conventional urinals.
It features an airtight seal to keep toilets completely odourless without wasting water in the urinal. Using the one-way valve water-free urinal system will ensure that your water usage and maintenance cost are radically reduced.

How can a urinal be waterless?

The protective dome catches debris to ensure a constant flow from the urinal.
Urine drains from the bowl into the Free-Flowing valve, It enters the patented airtight seal, flowing into the waste pipe.
The urine simply flushes away without the need for water, eradicating bad smells and limescale.

The average urinal flush uses around 2ℓ of water each time it is used. Retrofitting existing buildings or fitting new buildings with a water-free system has the potential to save billions of litres of water each year. There is an immediate cost saving, as the unit requires no plumbing or flush devices such as buttons or lights, and the maintenance routine is simple, quick and touch free.

The unit itself is extremely low cost and replacement is only required every 6 months.

What’s it good for?

By placing 2 or 3 tablets around the dome it will slowly dissipate over 2 weeks. Formulated to assist sludge build-up in the outflow pipes and simultaneously releases a pleasant odour in the restroom.
