Why does my greywater tank smell?
Catchment tanks come in a variety of sizes.
The daily throughput and loading of effluent is dependent on the number of people using the facilities and the source i.e. kitchen/shower/bath. The faster the collected effluent is dispersed the better.
Normally the liquid is pumped out by a submersible attached to a float switch which always leaves a residue under the pump. The organic material in this residue begins to decompose resulting in a sulphurous malodour.
How can Tank PongTM help?
- Tank Pong™ reduces the malodour upon application.
- The formulation also contains harmless enzymes and bacteria which speed up decomposition.
- You can safely use your grey water for irrigation directly after application.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply Tank Pong™ after the pump has completed its cycle into the left-over residue. Dosage is dependent on the capacity of the tank as well as the volume of effluent flowing through the unit. We recommend 100mls per 100 litres. Thereafter, increase or reduce quantities until the odour is gone.

Application in Portable Toilets (eg: Caravans)
Portable toilets usually comprise of two sections: a 20 litre upper tank and a 20 litre receiving tank. Pour 200ml of Pong Gone into the top tank (or follow a dilution ratio of 100/1). As the unit is flushed it will release a pleasant smell as it flows to the receiving tank where the sulphur retardant will reduce malodours from decomposition.Application in Containerised Toilets (eg: Yachts)
Pour Pong Gone into holding tank at a dilution rate of 100/1. Determine capacity of holding tank, e.g. if tank holds 200 litres pour in 2 litres of Pong Gone and add 10 litres of water to cover base of tank.Technical Information:

A unique 2 in 1 formula with a hand softener. The special foaming agent allows for the slow release of enzymes, ensuring enough contact time for them to do their work.
Fatcracker Liquid is effective for breaking the grease build up commonly found on kitchen surfaces and floors. It is effective because selected enzymes and microbes penetrate the microscopic pores found on floors and walls, allowing the grease film to be digested.

Dosage
Use 125 ml per 10 liters of water for light duty every day cleaning.
Simply add Fatcracker to water and mix up to a foam.
Apply with a mop or broom and leave on the floor or surface for about 10 minutes. This gives the enzymes time to penetrate the dirt between tile grouting.
Fatcracker Liquid is best used in conjunction with FreeFlo tablets which targets the fat build up found inside grease traps.
Fatcracker Liquid is so concentrated that 125ml can clean an average sized kitchen.
