Housings incorporate a dual o-ring design to reduce risk of leakage.

KDF filter cartridges will reduce or remove chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, iron, mercury, lead, magnesium, chromium and up to 98% of water-soluble cat-ions (positively-charged ions) of lead, mercury, copper, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved metals.

KDF Media is also bacteriostatic.

Whilst removal rates depend on a number of factors, more than 98% of chlorine is removed by KDF filtration media.

Unsure of your water pressure? We recommend purchasing the optional pressure reducing valve to further reduce risk of leakage, it is not uncommon for water pressure to surge which is why we recommend using the pressure reducing valve if your water pressure is over 4 Bars.
