Filtration systems are used to remove impurities from water by means of a fine physical barrier, a chemical process or a biological process.
Filters cleanse water to different extents for purposes like irrigation, drinking water, aquariums, ponds and swimming pools.
Filters use sieving, adsorption, ion exchanges, biological metabolite transfer, and other processes. Unlike a sieve or screen, a filter can remove particles much smaller than the holes through which the water passes.
Most filtration systems will remove sediment, chlorine, heavy metals and other impurities.

Dual Media - Point of Entry System features. Media is a combination KDF 55 with other medias and is unparalleled in Chlorine removal and heavy metal reduction. Consisting of a high purity copper-zinc formula, it's an NSF approved media that drastically extends the life of a carbon based filter. It is 100% recyclable and has no chemical additives.
KDF 55 Media is used in chlorine removal applications in conjunction with granular activated carbon. KDF 55 strips the chlorine from the water before the water contacts the carbon. The carbon, not being burdened with the job of chlorine removal is then free to perform higher level carbon filtration. Such as removal of chemical contaminants including Volatile Organic Chemical (VOC's) and Trihalomethanes (THM's). Using KDF media in conjunction with granular activated carbon extends the life of the media bed significantly over using carbon alone. That means longer service runs before replacement of the media is required.

Maximum water pressure of the vessel is 6 BARS therefore we recommend a maximum of 4 BARS water pressure, if your pressure exceeds this you must install a pressure reducing valve to keep the pressure under the maximum. If pressure exceeds the maximum it may lead to rupturing of the vessel in which case warranty will be void.

Chlorine is absorbed through the skin whilst showering as when in steam form the pores on your skin open and the Chlorine is absorbed.

Reverse Osmosis is a process where water is demineralised using a semi permeable membrane at high pressure. Your normal filtration units will only reduce certain contaminants such as silt, rust, chlorine and bacteria (up to 96%). Reverse Osmosis machines will purify your water up to 99.9% or 0.001 microns, thus removing other dissolved contaminants like Colloid, lead, mercury, germs and other metals.
